“We had a truly remarkable experience with Maplewood Homes. Denny, Kathy, Brad and David took as much pride in the home as we did. We always felt like we were part of the team - not simply a builder / purchaser  relationship. Our home was on schedule, on budget, stunning and all with 
absolutely no surprises. Building a home can be a stressful process but we can honestly say our experience was the opposite. It was fun and exciting  through the entire project. We love our home and can't imagine moving right now but if/when we do, we hope Maplewood will be able to build it 
for us!  

We are coming up on our third anniversary in the home we built with Maplewood Homes. It has exceeded all our expectations thus far and we absolutely are still in love with it. We comment all the time about how lucky we are and how nicely the project turned out. The home suits us 
perfectly for this time in our life. 
 
Before building with Maplewood, we had built one other home and had also gone through three major renovations in other homes. The experience with Maplewood was far and above any of our earlier experiences. Our past experience was that there were always extra costs when it came time for closing. Because Denny and Kathy are such good project managers and use quality materials for their original estimates, we ended up with absolutely no extra fees. Some builders tend to estimate low; then all the surprises start coming when you are in the middle of the project.  Each change costs you an "upgrade".  With Denny and Kathy, we were able to switch many different finishing items that added no extra charges because they had built the right amount into their estimates in the first place vs. estimating with all low end items.  We feel that is a more honest way to do business. 
 
When we built the previous home, we had significant difficulty tracking the builder down and working through issues and changes during the building process. There were also a lot of frustrations with the management of the subcontractors. We never encountered those issues with Maplewood Homes. We visited the project frequently and each time we had a question, change or issue, Denny would always answer his phone or call back within minutes and would then commit to meet us at the home site within hours or even minutes to resolve it. We lost no sleep during the construction as a result - we're not sure how many homebuilders can make that claim. 
 
We really feel that because of the way they operate and project manage, building a home with Denny and Kathy is absolutely one of the most fun experiences you could have. There is nothing more exciting than customizing your own home and because the frustrations are removed in their process it turns into the experience you so much deserve.
